What causes the texture to change of my Tinted Moisturizing Lip Balm?

Our Tinted Moisturizing Lip Balm is made with cupuaçu (cacao) and mango butters and babassu oil. Because these are pure plant ingredients, you might notice subtle changes on the surface—a soft film, tiny bumps, or slight texture shifts. This is completely normal and wipes away in one smooth swipe.

Why has my Tinted Moisturizing Lip Balm changed in texture?

Plant butters respond to temperature. They’re alive in that way. Heat and cold can affect their texture, but never their safety, performance, hydration, and nourishing power. Once it touches your lips, it melts—like butter ;)

Are Cidra products vegan and cruelty-free?

Yes. All Cidra products are both vegan and cruelty-free — we don’t use animal ingredients and never test on animals.

Are Cidra products clean?

Yes. Our products are formulated without any of the 2,000+ ingredients banned by the EU, including:
mineral oil, silicones, dimethicone, parabens, phthalates, phenoxyethanol, petrochemicals, polysorbates, petrolatum, paraffins, PEGs, BHA, BHT, EDTA, ethanolamines (DEA/TEA/MEA/ETA), formaldehyde, methylchloroisothiazolinone, methylisothiazolinone, triclosan, triclocarban, and animal-derived ingredients.

Are Cidra products free of synthetic fragrances?

Yes. All of our formulas are free from synthetic fragrances.

How should I store my Cidra products?

We recommend storing them in a cool, dry, and dark place to preserve the integrity of the ingredients.

Are Cidra products pregancy safe?

While none of our ingredients have been identified as unsafe for pregnant or breastfeeding individuals, we always recommend sharing our full ingredient list with your healthcare provider before use.
